Free Blueprint Area Calculator — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Blueprint Area Calculator ("the Application") handles information when you use the software. The Application is developed by Mat Robie and operated by LeapfrogIQ.

Information Collection

Blueprint Area Calculator does not collect personal information. The application does not require user accounts, logins, or identity verification.

Image Processing

Blueprint images uploaded by users are processed locally within the user's browser or device. Images are not uploaded to external servers and are not stored by LeapfrogIQ. When you close or refresh the browser tab, the image is removed from memory entirely.

Local Storage

The application may use browser storage mechanisms (such as local storage or service worker caching) to improve performance and offline access. These stored items contain only application resources and temporary session preferences (such as tutorial dismissal state). No measurement data or blueprint content is persisted.

Analytics

The application uses anonymous usage analytics (Google Analytics 4) to understand how the tool is used and where to focus improvements. Analytics data includes:

• Pages visited and time on page
• Tool interactions (upload started, shapes drawn, results generated)
• Device type and browser (desktop, tablet, mobile)
• General geographic region (country level)

No personally identifiable information is linked to analytics events. Blueprint images and measurement data are never included in analytics.

Third-Party Services

The application is hosted using third-party infrastructure providers including GitHub Pages and Cloudflare. These providers may process technical information such as IP addresses as part of their standard web hosting services. This is outside LeapfrogIQ's control and is governed by those providers' own privacy policies.

PDF rendering uses PDF.js, an open-source library that runs entirely in your browser. No PDF content is transmitted externally.

The application loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may log a technical request to Google's servers when the font is fetched.

Children's Privacy

This application is not directed toward children under the age of 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data Security

Because the application does not collect or store personal information, there is minimal risk of personal data exposure. Blueprint images processed in your browser remain entirely on your device.
